Sister Properties
Four extant Siem Reap properties under the Viroth name developed over 15 years through a bonded partnership. With the exception of the first, The Angkor Café, opposite Angkor Wat – leased in 2000, all are located on, or in the vicinity of Wat Bo road.
Now justly famous for style and excellent cuisine, Viroth’s Restaurant opened in 2004. It was expanded and refurbished in 2010. Khmer favourite dishes are served in an elegant, inside-outside ambiance, with tables set under a traditional straw roof or, amid a lush garden.
The mid-century modern style (50s-60s) is a unifying theme for the two hotels. Viroth’s Villa (2007), the first built – with only 7 rooms, was a spectacular success.
With understated elegance, a larger Viroth’s Hotel – only 5 mins away, opened in 2015. The earlier Villa was extended and refurbished in 2018. Both hotels feature cool, modernist style from lobby to service areas that continues to well-appointed rooms. Colour, furnishings and décor all blend with textured garden plantings that meander seamlessly through the properties.
The last jewel, Oko Gallery opened in 2019 to provide clients with the opportunity to purchase objets d’art in keeping with the hotel interiors. It is located opposite to the entrance of Viroth’s Hotel.
